We are reading: The BFG

We are listening for ways an author uses words to help us paint pictures in our head!!

We are learning about literary devices such as similes, metaphors, alliterations and onomatopoeia. When we do our writing, we will try to use these to make our descriptions more vivid.




In Arts:

We are starting our music unit about recording, composing and performing music.

In Religion:

We are starting our unit on New Life and the Resurrection.

Now: Fudge wants everyone to write their letters to Santa. Peter doesn't want to but he does to keep Fudge happy. He writes one for Turtle and his sister as well.

What does this tell us about Peter?

Is it too early to write a letter to Santa???
