This term we are looking at forces - push and pull, gravity and friction.

In Maths

We are learning to use mental and formal written strategies to subtract numbers to 4 digits.
 We will start our work on Fractions and Decimals.

We are listening for ways an author uses words to help us paint pictures in our head!!


We are learning to read and write information texts such as reports, biographies, explanations and procedures.

We are learning to recognise the visual features of non-fiction and how they help us to access information. We are learning to use the grammar of information texts so that we sound like experts.

In Arts:

We are working on Drama and Monologues.

In Religion:

We are learning about Saints.

Sport and PE

We are developing our skills for the Netball Gala Day and participating in jump rope for heart.

In HSIE

We are learning about People and Their Beliefs.
